Dear Readers:
Liberty Letters is not gone. But I am rethinking and expanding the site - so that it will be better than ever before. Included will be a Liberty Classics Library for your enjoyment, and a vigorous attempt to bring in some of the best writers and thinkers on the subject of liberty from the perspective of the American Founding Fathers. That is, thinking grounded in solid Christian thought, the classics, pre-revisionist history, and the belief that the best government is one that is limited on the one hand, with separation of powers (verticle and horizontal), inalienable rights, a commitment to what Adams and Jefferson called "a government of laws, and not of men," and so forth, but which recognizes that the greatest right of all is freedom of religion, believing with Washington that religion and morality are the very foundation and surest supports of a free state.
This process will take a couple of months as the Library is built.
Feel free to stop in however, and read the classics as they begin to be posted. They will first start appearing as blogs, but once they all have their own unique URL's, they will be ready to be organized in a very user friendly fashion with access from the home page.
When that is done, or perhaps before that time, the bloggers will return, better than ever.
Yours in freedom, and thank you for your continued support,
Steve Farrell
