I'm happy with what I've seen of Alito, but then again, we have been betrayed before.
My real interest is reigning in federal power, and limiting the jurisdiction of the Supreme Court. But compared with the kind of picks we saw under Clinton, or even Reagan, this may be one of the more constitutional oriented Justices, or at least we all hope so.
He has been on the wish list of many a pro-family, pro-morality, pro-state rights group for a good while.
We shall see.
