Birth control appeals to the advanced radical because it is calculated to undermine the authority of the Christian Church. I look forward to seeing humanity free someday of the tyranny of Christianity no less than Capitalism.
- Margaret Sanger, Founder of Planned Parenthood, "Birth Control and the Revolution," 1917
Liberty Letters Comment: Few recognize it, but the roots to creating legislative, judicial, and classroom support in favor of that which is immoral, and against that which is moral, or consistent with that most inspired of moral system, the Judeo-Christian ethic (as expounded most clearly by Christ), are so very often calculated, not to liberate man in the spirit of the American Revolution, but to enslave him in the spirit of the Marxist Revolution. This confession by Margaret Sanger is but one of so many that are out there for our serious consideration, if we just open our eyes and stop pretending that it doesn't matter. It does matter, it always has, and always will. We are in a war between good and evil, and we had better be up to it. Our civilization and our souls are on the line.
